Body Shop Estimator

Mall of Georgia Ford is hiring now for an experienced Automotive Body Shop Estimator. Our current need is to hire an experienced self-motivated Body Shop Estimator immediately. Ideal candidates will be experienced and have good communication skills with customers and insurance representatives.

Body Shop Estimator - Job Description:
The Body Shop Estimator is responsible for identifying and documenting necessary body repair work and schedules body repair work to be performed. The Body Shop Estimator requires good people skills and communicates throughout the day with customers and Collision Center staff.

Body Shop Estimator - Job Responsibilities:

  • Schedules appointments with customer.
  • Works with customer and Body Shop Technicians to identify required repair work.
  • Offers additional services and repairs to customers.
  • Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicle to condition specified by customer.
  • Dispatches and maintains an organized workload.
  • Enters itemized estimate on repair order and explains estimate to customer.
  • Keeps customer informed and updated throughout the repair process.
  • Maintains Customer Satisfaction score at or above designated standards.
  • Meets dealerships standards for repair/order production.

Body Shop Estimator - Requirements:

  • Experience as a Body Shop Estimator is required
  • Computer Proficiency with Audatex CC1 and Reynolds Power systems
  • Successful track record
  • Strong record of positive Customer Satisfaction (CSI) results
  • Valid drivers license

Front Office Job Responsibilities:

  • Familiar with or experienced using CDK software preferred but not required
  • Receiving and processing insurance checks/payments and or collecting deductibles
  • Assist with receiving incoming phone calls greeting and helping with walk in guests
  • Helping with vendor services experience with filing and maintaining customer records
