About the Role: Estimation Specialist
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Estimation Specialist with solid experience in the glazing industry. This role is key to supporting our commercial operations and ensuring accurate timely and competitive project quotes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates for a wide range of glazing and installation projects
- Work closely with clients suppliers and the operations team to define project scope and requirements
- Assess materials labour and time requirements
- Utilise Logikal software for estimation and specification tasks
- Provide technical input and solutions to meet client needs
Required Industry Knowledge
- Glass replacement & emergency glazing
- High-level access glazing
- Boarding up services
- Condensation solutions
- UPVC and aluminium windows and doors
- Composite and bifold door installations
- Double glazed windows and sash windows
- Shopfronts and partitions
- Glass balustrades
Key Competencies
- Proven commercial glazing experience
- Proficiency with Logikal (essential)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Team player with a proactive approach
