Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights Known internally as a Data Systems Analyst youll contribute to the design and delivery of data solutions within our Corporate Platforms team that supports Suncorps strategic direction. Youll work closely with stakeholders across Technology & Operations to ensure our data systems are fit-for-purpose integrated and aligned with business needs.

What Youll Do
- Engage with stakeholders to gather analyse and document business and technical requirements
- Translate business needs into clear actionable technical specifications and data models
- Collaborate with Data Engineers Solution Architects and Testers to ensure solutions meet business goals
- Support the design and delivery of data pipelines integrations and system enhancements
- Create process maps data flow diagrams and system documentation to support delivery
- Perform gap analysis and impact assessments on system and data changes
- Contribute to testing activities by defining acceptance criteria and supporting defect triage
- Liaise between business teams and technical delivery teams to ensure shared understanding
- Maintain alignment with Agile delivery practices including backlog refinement and sprint planning
- Monitor solution implementation to ensure requirements are met and quality standards upheld
What Youll Bring
- Proven experience translating complex business needs into technical solutions
- Strong understanding of data systems data structures and integration patterns
- Skilled in using analysis tools and techniques such as process mapping data modelling and SQL queries
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments
- A collaborative mindset able to work across multidisciplinary teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to change
- Attention to detail in documentation and solution design
- Proactive approach to identifying risks dependencies and improvement opportunities
