Job Summary
Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Cyber System Engineer. The Cyber System Engineer acts as a lead security designer provides expertise in all areas of positon will perform the following duties (but not limied too):
- Maintains security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards policies and procedures; conducting incident response analyses; developing and conducting training programs.
- Responsible for the design development implementation and integration of a DoD IA architectures systems or system components for use within computing network and enclave environments.
- Ensures that the architecture and design of development and operational systems are functional and secure.
- Designs for program of record systems and special purpose processing nodes with platform IT interconnectivity.
- Directing the cybersecurity and IA teams in the delivery of information security information security systems and/or computer security requirements.
- Assessing system security.
- Performing vulnerability scans.
- Designing cybersecurity strategies and mitigating vulnerabilities
Qualifications
Requried Qualification:
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
- Must be a US Citizen
- Able to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Must have 8570 cert
- Experience with designing cybersecuirty strategies
- Experience with vulnerability scans
