Job Description
Job Summary
This dual-role position combines providing building and grounds maintenance basic repairs and preventative care with providing safe and dependable transportation services for residents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
*Other duties may be assigned
- Provide safe and timely transportation for residents to and from scheduled appointments as assigned.
- Maintain the exterior of the building and grounds in an attractive safe condition including parking lots sidewalks lawns shrub/tree care and snow removal as directed.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment including painting carpentry masonry plumbing and electrical work as directed.
- Collect and dispose of trash and refuse in designated dumpsters for scheduled pick-up ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in building maintenance repair or grounds keeping preferred.
- Ability to operate and maintain a variety of hand tools power tools and maintenance equipment safely.
- Basic knowledge of painting carpentry masonry plumbing and electrical repair.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to courteous respectful interactions with residents staff and visitors.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in maintenance or related field preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read analyze and write. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and effectively communicate with residents staff and visitors.
Certifications Licenses Registrations
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record along with CDL or passenger endorsement
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift carry and move objects up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to sit stand and climb a ladder.
Schedule
- This is a PRN position
- Hours can vary based on the needs of the facility
