Field Service Technician

We are hiring for a Field Service Technician on aPart-Time Basis (up to 35 hours/month) to provide routine technical maintenance and service in retail locations within 100 miles of DMA. Flexible hours.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Maintain troubleshoot and replace software/hardware as needed in all assigned locations. Provide detailed account of visits to PRN/STRATACACHE HD.
• Maintain detailed records of each site visit generate daily/weekly reports
• Assume responsibility for prioritizing and completing all work following established policies and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationship with site management and associates to leverage problem resolution and compliance support.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or college degree preferred.
• 1-2 years relevant experience.
• Must have experience working with consumer electronics and computers and possess software system aptitude and networking knowledge. Prior POS troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent communication skills; reliability and accuracy are essential. Must be motivated to work with minimal supervision.
• Must demonstrate excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills as well as superb organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to climb 6 ladder lift 30lbs and ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Superior customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with store management help desk agents and PRN management.
