Responsibilities:

We are looking for a dynamicMedical Social Services Directorto lead our social services department in our skilled nursing facility. The successful candidate will be proactive able to solve problems and address all guest concerns (residents and their familys) as they transition. Service will be your number one objective.

The primary duties of this position are to plan organize develop and direct the overall operation of the facilitys Social Service department according to federal state and local guidelines. The ideal candidates will possess strong communications and interpersonal skills to interact with the facilitys residents and work with the staff members to ensure the residents needs are maintained on an individual basis.

Requirements:

    • Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Social Work; LCSW preferred but not required.
    • Prior experience in long-term care skilled nursing and/or rehab center as a social worker or director
    • You should be tech savvy - solid computer skills including Microsoft Office products & EMR
    • Presents a polished professional image with good communication skills
