Are you a newly qualified Music Teacher looking for your first permanent role in a supportive and ambitious school A thriving secondary school in Dorchester is seeking a Music ECT to join its community from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent role offering excellent support and development as you begin your teaching career.
The Role
Full-time Music Teacher (ECT) position starting January 2026
Teach Music across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to grow into KS5 teaching as experience develops
Benefit from a structured induction programme with mentoring and tailored CPD
Play a key role in the schools extra-curricular life including choirs ensembles and productions

What Were Looking For
A Music ECT with PGCE/QTS (or pending qualification)
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach engaging lessons that inspire a love of Music
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Enthusiasm for contributing to concerts ensembles and wider school productions
Commitment to professional development and collaborative working
