Job Description
Job Summary (Deputy Manager - Process Engineering/NPD)
- Work in a Japanese automotive MNC based at Kadi Gujarat
- Lead and manage APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities
- Possess strong knowledge of APQP PPAP and related documentation
- Supervise tool die and fixture manufacturing with suppliers
- Conduct technical reviews for new products with customers and process improvements
- Handle vendor management for tools and special purpose machines (SPM)
- Ensure customer milestone adherence and timely project delivery
- Review kaktora during new product development and adoption of new processes
- Responsible for design concepts and development of jigs and fixtures
- Implement Poka-Yoke (error-proofing) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN)
- Oversee tool trials and prepare budgets for new projects
- Manage Value Stream Analysis (VSA) and support IATF & ISO audits
- Minimum qualification: with 10 years experience in the automotive industry
