Job Description
Job Title: CLS/MT
Job Location: Anaconda MT
Job Type: Contract
Job Description:
- Perform and analyze a variety of routine and complex laboratory tests on biological specimens including blood urine and other body fluids.
- Operate maintain and troubleshoot a variety of laboratory instruments and automated systems.
- Ensure the accuracy and validity of test results through strict adherence to quality control procedures and quality assurance standards.
- Review and verify results for accuracy and report them in a timely manner.
- Identify and resolve problems with patient samples reagents and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests performed and results.
- Follow all laboratory safety protocols and procedures including handling of hazardous materials and biological specimens.
- Participate in proficiency testing programs to ensure laboratory competency.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including physicians and nurses to provide timely and accurate information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Stay current with new laboratory techniques technologies and regulations.
