Job Description
Introduction
- Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment as per schedule
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical and electro-pneumatic systems
- Wire panels and perform general electrical installations
- Maintain building and facilities electrical systems
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and call-outs
- Ensure all work complies with electrical safety regulations
- Support shift operations and be available for standby duties
- N6 in Electrical Engineering
- Trade Test: Electrician or Millwright
- 5 years experience in maintenance within a pharmaceutical food or beverage manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and experience in AC/DC drives setup and programming
- Maintenance of extruders gas boilers coal boilers
- Experience with PLC systems (programming/ fault finding without tech aid)
- Experience with Variable Speed Drives (programming/ fault finding without tech aid)
- Experience with Temperature Controllers (programming/ identification/ setting up)
- Experience with HVAC and MV systems is an advantage
- Own transport is essential
- Strong team player and communicator
- Proactive and able to work under pressure
- Safety-conscious and reliable
