Compensation Range:
The starting pay for this position is $59500 - $80500 for fully licensed candidates and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.

Essential Functions:
- Serve as a leader and role model for the organization in matters relating to childrens outpatient therapy services and provide daily supervision of childrens outpatient therapy operations.
- Ensure the compliance and successful execution of all childrens outpatient therapy program requirements as outlined in the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Medical Manual.
- Promote the development of a comprehensive service delivery system by identifying individual served needs and gaps in services to better meet those needs.
- Assist assigned team members as needed in all aspects of service planning treatment caseload management and support activities.
- Provide direct services to beneficiaries within their scope of practice.
- Oversee assigned staff work assignments and work schedules to meet the needs of individuals served and the agency.
- Ensure that direct reports meet direct service productivity and documentation standards per agency and program expectations including preparing and submitted required reporting on behalf of the service line administration such as documentation for contracting and grant submissions.
- Ensure documentation of attendance at required trainings is maintained for all assigned staff and available for review upon request.

- Regularly assess the quality of work and operational metrics for assigned staff and make suggestions for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies regarding resources and services for improved patient care and staff development.
- Monitor and assist in the preparation of program budget.
- Utilize motivational interview strategies and a trauma-informed approach to engage with and provide service to individuals.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and health registries and promote the utilization of the Community Electronic Health Record (CEHR) for individuals served.
- Travel off-site as needed for various programming opportunities including meetings conferences activities and events
- Ensure assigned staff compliance with quality care initiatives including Meaningful Use (MU) Medicare Merit Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) requirements.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and health registries and promote the utilization of the Community Electronic Health Record (CEHR) for individuals served.
- Ensure that the CNS Healthcare standards of service are applied to interactions with individuals served guests and staff.
- Participate in and promote departmental and agency quality improvement initiatives.
- Assume responsibility for professional growth by current reading and attendance at educational programs and conferences.
- Maintain knowledge and compliance with established policies and procedures corporate compliance program code of ethics applicable federal state and local laws and regulations HIPAA standards and other regulatory programs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent individual supervision (recorded) at least weekly based on their individual needs and experience that includes but is not limited to: a) Monthly case reviews b) Quarterly joint contracts c) Monthly review of progress toward attaining goals d) Review of any corrective action steps.
- Organize and oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned team to ensure appropriate coverage of responsibilities.
- Educate enforce and ensure team compliance with CNS Healthcare policies and procedures.
- Cultivate maintain and enhance team department and interdepartmental relationships to promote collaboration teamwork and a positive working environment.
- Serve as a conduit of communication between direct reports department leadership and agency leadership.
- Build a strong team by attracting selecting onboarding and developing direct reports to retain high-performance team members and empower them to elevate their level of responsibility span of control and performance.
- Serve as a role model mentor and coach in providing ongoing and consistent individual supervision that is focused on meeting individual productivity and performance goals as well as departmental goals objectives and project deadlines.
- Manage employee performance including any verbal/written warnings and conducting employee evaluations to provide examples of behavior ways for employees to improve performance and development of goals for the coming year.
- Lead assigned team in quality improvement initiatives and compliance with all quality improvement initiatives and standards to promote quality achievement across the organization.
- Responsible for managing work schedules time and attendance paid time off and mileage for assigned staff in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Social Work Counseling Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy
- State licensure: Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Limited-Licensed Psychologist (LLP)
- Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP)
- Individual with specialized training and one year of experience in the examination evaluation and treatment of minors and their families and who is a physician psychologist licensed or limited-licensed masters social worker licensed or limited-licensed professional counselor licensed or limited-licensed marriage and family therapist or registered nurse.
- Individual with at least a masters degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited school who is trained and has one year of experience in the examination evaluation and treatment of minors and their families.
- Experience with the application of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) in health care organizations
- Proficient with computers Microsoft office products and electronic health records (EHRs)
- Ability to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team communicate effectively work collaboratively and build positive working relationships
- Ability to work closely with persons with mental or physical limitations
- Ability to write clear concise reports and the ability to formulate and implement an effective treatment plan.
- Ability to apply methods for measuring the multiple variables of treatment outcome
- Ability to use discretion and judgmental when handling matters of a sensitive or confidential nature
- Advanced time management problem solving customer service interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to be forward thinking and take initiative to accomplish goals and objectives of the department

- Valid and unrestricted Michigan Drivers License
- Reliable transportation and current proof of auto insurance
Preferred
- Infant Mental Health endorsement and/or credentials through the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health
- Prior experience working with all age groups including children; solution focused brief therapy; substance abuse and co-occurring disorders treatment; stages of change and/or motivational interviewing.
- Prior experience in a community mental health setting.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a supervisory role.
