We re looking for an experienced Caseworker to join a high-profile Central Government organisation based in London on an initial contract paying up to 208 per day via umbrella (inside IR35) on an initial 9 month contract.
This is a hybrid role with a requirement to attend 1-3 days per week.
You ll be working on sensitive and operationally important casework supporting key national priorities. The role involves decision-making based on government policy managing confidential information and working at pace within strict procedural frameworks.
Proven experience with the following is required -
- You must hold or be able to pass Security Clearance - SC Clearance
- Previous caseworking experience in a structured environment
- Strong analytical skills - able to assess complex information from multiple sources
- Experience applying government policy and following formal procedures
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet daily targets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Full competence with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint Teams)
- Solid understanding of Data Protection and confidentiality obligations
- Emotional resilience - you may be exposed to sensitive or distressing material
Desirable:
- Background in immigration law enforcement or government casework
- Experience managing complex or sensitive cases
- Ability to remain impartial and policy-focused when making decisions
