What youll be doing:
- Collaborating with data engineering leads and solution architects to deliver robust technical solutions
- Developing and deploying GDPR-compliant data solutions that meet business needs
- Following agreed standards and release management processes to ensure quality and reduce risk
- Working within an agile Scrum team to deliver timely and effective solutions
- Translating user stories into technical tasks using Jira ensuring clarity and consistency
- Identifying and resolving issues and risks while driving continuous improvement
- Ensuring alignment with IT controls and attesting to them as part of the SDLC
- Embedding fairness and value for customers across the application estate
Qualifications :
Who were looking for:
- Holding a relevant degree or equivalent experience in data engineering or a related field
- Demonstrating strong proficiency in SQL Python and ETL/ELT processes
- Understanding Snowflake Data Warehouse concepts and dbt core/macros
- Bringing experience with AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda Step Functions and EventBridge
- Applying basic data architecture principles and familiarity with data vault concepts
- Using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and version control with GitHub
- Gathering requirements and documenting complex data solutions effectively
- Delivering change within regulated environments with solid test and release management skills
