Job Description

SUMMARY

The FF&E Field Services Managerplays a key role in achieving Armadas operational goals by overseeing physical supply chain activities at our FF&E warehouse. This role ensures visibility and execution across the supply chain working closely with internal teams clients suppliers 3PL partners and FF&E colleagues. The Manager will drive continuous improvement standardize processes and support performance reviews through clear metrics and collaboration. The FF&E Field Services Manager is a member of the FF&E team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor warehouse receipt exceptions; inspect damaged products as needed identify root causes and implement resolutions.
  • Partner with warehouse leadership to identify and implement operational improvements that enhance efficiency.
  • Support the Channel Manager by validating product weights and dimensions when required.
  • Identify supply chain inefficiencies caused by supplier behavior; collaborate with Client Procurement and suppliers to develop corrective actions.
  • Generate and present supply chain KPI reports to internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with those stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze freight accessorial spend identify cost drivers and work with stakeholders to implement cost-reduction strategies.
  • Review 3PL warehouse invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for FF&E Field Services.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience Requirement

Minimum:

  • Bachelors degree (preferably in Business Operations Management Logistics Supply Chain).
  • 5-7 years logistics or supply chain management experience ideally in warehouse or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship building skills
  • Effective communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Natural bias for action

Preferred:

  • 10-12 years logistics or supply chain management experience ideally in warehouse or manufacturing operations.
  • Masters degree in Business Operations Management Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Logistics Operations Management experience
  • Ability to Relocate
  • Experience in FF&E distribution and logistics with a manufacturer dealer or procurement organization.

Language and Technical Skills requirement

  • Proficient in MS Word Excel Power Point & skills a plus.
  • Proficient in use of Transportation Management Systems (MercuryGate LeanLogistics) or Warehouse Management System (RedPrairie etc)
  • Solid understanding of warehouse transportation and inventory management terms concepts and best practices
  • Data-driven fact-based detail-oriented approach to analysis and problem solving
  • Strong Project Management skills and ability to work independently within a team environment

  • Work will sometimes be performed in an office environment with normal noise levels involving prolonged sitting and computer usage. (50%)
  • Work will sometimes be performed in a warehouse environment requiring prolonged standing and movement through a warehouse facility. (50%)
  • Work involves travel and visits to Suppliers and warehouse facilities. (50%)
