The Interface Engineer will provide technical and coordination support to the project team acting as the main point of contact for all interface activities across assigned scopes. The role involves close interaction with the client subcontractors consortium/joint venture partners (if applicable) and other contractors to ensure smooth and timely delivery. Internally the position will coordinate with package managers operations supply chain and engineering leads to track progress resolve issues and manage design and execution interfaces.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate interface activities between the project team client consortium partners subcontractors and other contractors.
- Maintain an Interface Register to track and close out all interface actions.
- Attend and organize regular interface meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Track inputs actions and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Support the Project Manager in managing external and internal interfaces.
- Monitor supplier progress and compliance in coordination with the supply chain team.
- Follow up on design fabrication testing and related project activities.
- Provide operational support during offshore installation including SIMOPs and drilling unit coordination (if applicable).
- Ensure all interface activities comply with project schedules specifications and quality requirements.
- Promote safe cost-effective and innovative solutions.
- Support training and development initiatives for engineering staff.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- 12 years of experience in the oil and gas industry including at least 3 years in an interface management role.
- Previous experience in ARAMCO or similar large-scale projects preferred.
- Strong communication organization and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to onshore and offshore sites and work extended hours as required.
