Drilling Planner (Toolpusher)

What Youll Do
Drilling Operations Planning & Supervision
- Plan and supervise all drilling operations from spud to completion with comprehensive oversight
- Ensure drilling programs are executed safely efficiently and within established timelines
- Monitor critical drilling parameters and make real-time operational decisions to optimize performance
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across drilling operations
Contractor & Service Company Coordination
- Coordinate effectively with drilling contractors and service companies for seamless operations
- Manage contractor performance and ensure adherence to operational procedures and safety standards
- Facilitate communication between multiple service providers to ensure integrated operations
- Oversee contractor compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Crew Management & Equipment Oversight
- Manage drilling crew performance scheduling and operational assignments
- Ensure optimal equipment utilization and maintenance protocols are followed
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to drilling personnel
- Coordinate crew rotations and ensure adequate staffing levels for continuous operations
Risk Management & Documentation
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Maintain accurate drilling records and produce detailed daily operational reports
- Implement well control procedures and emergency response protocols
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company drilling procedures

Requirements
Who You Are
- Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
- IWCF (International Well Control Forum) certification with current validity
- BOSIET/FOET (Basic/Further Offshore Emergency Training) certification
- Drilling supervisor certification from recognized industry authority
- Valid medical certificate demonstrating offshore/drilling fitness requirements
What You Bring
- 8-12 years of comprehensive drilling experience in oil & gas operations
- Essential well control experience with proven track record in complex drilling scenarios
- Strong technical knowledge of drilling equipment procedures and safety systems
- Excellent leadership and crew management skills with demonstrated team coordination abilities
- Proven experience in contractor management and service company coordination
- Strong analytical skills for monitoring drilling parameters and making operational decisions
- Comprehensive understanding of risk assessment and mitigation planning
- Excellent communication and reporting skills for stakeholder interface
