Job Description
We are looking for a special nanny for one of our favourite returning clients a super family in Monaco. They are looking for daily nanny working Sunday to Thursdays up to 12 hours per day (both daughters are at school during the day (8.30 til 3pm at least so there is plenty of down time). The nanny must have excellent English and must possess an EU passport. Driving licence is strongly preferred. Previous experience working for a VIP family as a rota nanny and for a VIP family will be extremely helpful.
The family has two daughters who will be aged 4 years and 8 years by the end of this year. Both girls are at school for most of the day (they start school 8-8.30am and are at school until 3pm or 4.30pm. Parents both work. Mum has Fridays off.
Personality and attitude is really key in this position theyre looking for someone who is really positive cheerful and brings a lot of good energy with them on a daily basis. They would like somebody experienced and very professional but somebody also very warm and caring and who is fun with children. Being wholly trustworthy and responsible at all times goes without saying.
It is important that you have excellent initiative and that you can think for yourself and do things without being asked which includes picking something up if it is fallen or putting something away if you see that is necessary without needing to be asked. Someone who is able to read the room and judge whether they should step back or step up when the parents are around.
Our nannies who have worked for this family over the years have been very happy.
You must have excellent checkable references for recent and longer held nanny jobs. You should have experience working for a VIP family and with what that entails (high standards discretion flexibility etc) You must be happy to travel with the family and should have experience in packing for children travelling with children and helping children settle in at their destination.
You will be given your own separate accommodation in the same building as the family but on a different floor.
Duties to include
- Create a secure and loving setting for the children.
- Prepare healthy and varied freshly cooked meals and snacks
- do the childrens ironing (the housekeeper looks after everything else)
- Set up educational fun and interesting activities based on their developmental stage.
- Aid in daily schedules encompassing meals bathing and bed time.
- Arrange and oversee playdates and excursions.
- Support the holistic growth and welfare of the children.
- Manage school pickups and accompany the toddler to classes and activities
Salary will be negotiated and based on your skills references qualifications and experience.
Starts September.
