You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Senior Data Officer will be responsible for managing data and information systems focusing on safeguarding digital tools integrity availability and confidentiality. This role encompasses various responsibilities starting with efficient data management organizing storing and ensuring the accessibility of information. The Officer will implement a robust protocol to protect data and access controls to prevent unauthorized access.
The Officer will also contribute to development of data collection tools by collaborating with Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer identifying areas for improvement of the current KFM database systems and integrating new technologies for enhanced efficiency. The Officer will also provide systems support troubleshoot system issues conducts system checks and offers training to ensure proper data handling practices among staff.

Qualifications :
Education: A bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Data Management or related field. A masters degree is preferable.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data management information systems or a similar role. Prior experience in energy projects or development programs is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex data sets identify patterns and make data-driven recommendations using tools like Power Bi Tableau or any data analysis and visualization tools.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
