Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled SAP EWM Functional Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading SAP EWM implementations system enhancements and ongoing support for global logistics operations. This is a critical role requiring deep domain expertise solution ownership and proactive collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end SAP EWM implementations rollouts and support activities.
- Analyze business requirements and design scalable client-aligned SAP EWM solutions.
- Configure SAP EWM components including inbound/outbound processing warehouse layout RF framework and internal logistics flows.
- Collaborate closely with logistics supply chain and technical stakeholders to optimize warehouse operations.
- Drive and conduct workshops user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of solutions within defined scope and milestones.
- Prepare and review functional specifications design documents and process flows.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on SAP EWM experience with at least 2 full-cycle implementations on S/4HANA decentralized EWM.
- Strong configuration expertise in RF framework warehouse structure inbound/outbound processes and ECC/S/4HANA integration.
- Deep understanding of logistics and warehouse operations including kitting Value-Added Services (VAS) packing slotting and cartonization.
- Experience integrating SAP EWM with 3PL systems and third-party warehouse operations.
- Proven experience in custom EWM development tailored to business requirements.
- Proficiency in ALE/IDoc interfaces and SAP system integration scenarios.
- Hands-on experience with cutover planning execution and post-go-live support.
- Knowledge of SAP Yard Logistics (YL) is highly desirable.
- Techno-functional skills related to custom developments and enhancements within EWM are a strong plus.
- Excellent documentation solution design and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management abilities and the capability to work independently in a fast-paced agile environment.
