The Risk Intelligence Consultant is a role within the Risk Intelligence Center (RIC). The role is responsible for supporting the delivery of intelligence products and services in response to organizational and decision-specific requirements.
The role is suited to someone with 3-5 years experience in intelligence and / or investigations and associated protective services (i.e. corporate security / travel security / crisis management). Direct experience in an operational role and customer facing responsibilities is essential. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in private sector intelligence; however this is not essential for a candidate who can evidence a robust understanding of customer requirements.
The primary focus of the Risk Intelligence Consultant is to support the delivery and development of requests for intelligence (RFI) in response to reactive and proactive intelligence requirements. This includes working closely with the Lead Risk Intelligence Consultant to deliver on standard RFIs as well as complex and challenging customer RFIs.
The role reports directly into the Global Intelligence Manager and requires strong intelligence acumen understanding of customer requirements relationship building and networking skills strong research analytical and report writing skills in addition to proficiency in IT systems including Microsoft Office and specific intelligence tools.
Working within a dynamic and demanding environment the role requires flexibility and agility including mobilising on short notice to meet operational requirements and some evening and weekend work. The role is Monday Friday with evening and weekend cover as appropriate based on customer RFIs. Travel may be required to visit customers and external events on occasion. Responsibilities will evolve over time with opportunities for ongoing development and progression.
Responsibilities

- Support the delivery and development of RFIs.
- Direction of intelligence efforts (reactively and proactively) including proactively identifying prioritising and tasking intelligence requirements within the RIC for both general reporting requirements and client-specific requirements.
- Collection of data and information including the use of intelligence tools and manual processes including research.
- Processing of intelligence into databases forms logs systems templates etc.
- Analysis of data and information using recognised intelligence techniques and supporting seniors with more complex and / or demanding efforts.
- Production of finished intelligence products autonomously or with support / supporting seniors including (but not limited to) alerts analysis (assessments reports etc.) and investigations. This includes both written products and verbal presentations.
- Dissemination of intelligence products to stakeholders including internally within Securitas and commercially to customers both in the UK and overseas.
- Support the drive of operational excellence through ongoing Evaluation and Feedback of intelligence services including maintaining the highest level of consistency and quality.
- Support the identification and development of new sources and methods of research to ensure that intelligence products reflect the latest methodologies and best practices.
- Maintaining awareness of innovation within intelligence to develop and implement the latest techniques and tactics best practices and information relevant to the RIC and own self-development.
- Support management and seniors and provide guidance to junior colleagues in order to maximise their development efficiency and morale.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Securitas organisation including client-facing staff and global colleagues.
- Work closely in partnership with other internal stakeholders and be willing to challenge the status quo.
- Liaise and collaborate with colleagues stakeholders and agencies (both internally and externally) in the UK and internationally to build an intelligence network.
- Be able to support the Protective and Global intelligence functions.
- Support senior management with the implementation of new products ways of working and organisational change.
- Be a role model for all other analysts in the RIC.
- Be able to work autonomously without direct supervision in dynamic situations.
- Any other duties as directed by the RIC Management Team and senior colleagues.

- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English to deliver intelligence reports to various audience levels
- Ability to prioritise and plan own work and manage time effectively to meet objectives and deadlines while remaining calm under pressure.
- Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment self-employment or full and part-time education during that period.
