Other Conditions: Extramural funds. Appointment to begin September 2025 or soon thereafter. Renewal contingent upon satisfactory performance department needs and availability of funds.

Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
  1. Possession of a baccalaureate degree in Business Administration or related field and 3 year(s) of progressively responsible professional experience with responsibilities for Business Administration/Management or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education knowledge skills and abilities as indicated..
  2. Considerable workingknowledge of principles practices and techniques in Business Administration/Management demonstrated bythe broad knowledgeand understandingof the full range of pertinent standard and evolving concepts principles and methodologies.
  3. Considerable workingknowledge and understanding of applicablefederal and state laws rules regulations and theoriessystems associated with Business Administration/Management.
  4. Demonstrated ability to recognize a wide range of intricateproblems use reasoning and logic to determine accurate causes and apply principles and practices to determine evaluate integrate and implement practical and thorough solutions in an effective and timely manner.
  5. Demonstrated ability to interpret and present information and ideas clearly and accurately in writing verbally and by preparation of reports and other materials.
  6. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations groups team leaders andmembers and individuals.
  7. Demonstrated ability to operate a personal computer and word processing software.
  8. For supervisory work demonstrated ability to lead subordinates manage work priorities and projects and manage employee relations.
  9. Experience with electronic financial systems such as Kuali and RCUH.
  10. Ability to travel independently to various geographical site/school locations including neighbor island travel in a timely manner and work on some weekends for project-related activities.

Desirable Qualifications
  1. Possession of a Masters degree in Business Administration or related field.
  2. Experience working with persons with disabilities including those who are deaf or hard of hearing.
