About the Position
The Senior Payroll Project Analyst plays an essential role within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project team contributing to the implementation of a new cloud-based HCM solution. The position involves close collaboration with People & Culture Information Services and external vendors to gather requirements validate and improve data quality participate in design and test workshops and ensure effective knowledge transfer across the university.
Key responsibilities include serving as a process owner and subject matter expert in design sessions conducting master data audits and remediation supporting user acceptance testing (including parallel payroll testing) and documenting processes. The analyst is also responsible for clear communication of insights opportunities and risks to stakeholders as well as facilitating knowledge transfer to support successful project delivery.
Skills and Experience
Candidates for this position should possess advanced theoretical or management knowledge significant experience in payroll processes and familiarity with contemporary HCM systems such as SuccessFactors. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills exceptional attention to detail and a deep understanding of P&C processes systems regulations and Enterprise Agreements are essential. The ability to manage multiple stakeholders negotiate and influence outcomes create thorough documentation and provide training and user support are also critical to excelling in this role.
