We are currently seeking a Residential Real Estate Law Firm Post-Closer to join our growing team in Charlotte NC! The ideal candidate will understand the entire post-closing process and is able to switch between all functions as needed. The post-closer makes sure that all files are recorded and funded all parties involved are informed and that all closings go off without a hitch once the signed documents are received.

In this key role the Post-Closer will be customer-centric always taking the initiative and working as the ultimate problem solver. This is a perfect position for someone that understands all aspects of the post-closing duties. Prior experience as a Mortgage Loan Processer or Mortgage Loan Closer or Title Company Post-Closer would be a great fit. You care about quality doing things right and consistently getting the job done. If this describes you then apply today!

What Youll Do:

  • Scan in Closing Documents
  • Update Title with Register of Deeds VCap and Odyssey Systems
  • Confirm all funds have been received for closing
  • Complete the Post-Closing compliance checklist
  • Record Documents utilizing the Simplifile system
  • Requesting/saving final title policies

What Youll Need:

  • Previous experience in real estate law mortgage processing or a title company is needed.
  • Great communication skills and customer service
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with an ability to adapt in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Customer-centric - the customer always comes first!
  • Solution-oriented - excellent problem-solving skills
  • Humble and teachable
  • Flexible team player
  • Able to work after business hours at month end
  • Able to work in the office 5 days per week
