Who are we looking for
We are hiring for a new Sr. Proposal Specialist to join our West Teamto support pursuit and proposal activities and the development and implementation of pursuit plans and strategy. This position is Hybrid w/3 days in the office of your local office.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of high-quality persuasive proposals marketing collateral and presentations.
- Understanding of technical terminology project management structure and discipline functions by Sectors.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously coordinate groups of content providers and deal with changing priorities.
- Review RFPs and participate/lead strategic win plan discussions with Project Managers and Technical Leaders.
- Facilitate proposal GNG and kick-off meetings.
- Facilitate color review meetings and drive content completion.
- Proposal formatting writing editing and proof reading.
- Effective use of graphic and organizational software to create key graphics (e.g. PowerPoint).
- Participate in proposal debrief and lessons learned discussions.
- Participate in the prepositioning stage with Technical Leaders.
- Review RFPs and lead strategic win plan discussions with Project Managers and Technical Leaders.
- Assist the Project Managers and Technical Leads to create presentations and interviews for clients.
- Knowledge of Salesforce/PowerBI.
Clients:
- Internal proposal specialists/managers projects managers subject matter experts and technical and proposal staff.
- Interact with members of the North America BD Group as well as project managers marketing and communications groups and drafting department.

- Independent problem solving planning and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills both written and oral.
- Flexible and able to meet challenging deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills required with ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Even tempered in fast-paced high-pressure environment.
- Consistent personal ethics: integrity dependability initiative and quality
Technical Competencies:
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
- Proficient in Adobe PDF.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign) and Photoshop.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree.
- Minimum five years of experience coordinating and writing technical proposals for an engineering construction or professional services organization.

- Holiday Pay - Holiday pay is provided for eligible employees. GHD observes 9 holidays per year. Holiday pay will be based on the regular set schedule for the employee

Salary range: $85000.00- $135000.00 based on experience and location
