Job Description
This position will primarily support AWSs Industries sales teams negotiating strategic technology agreements with enterprise customers and assisting with business development and other initiatives. The candidate will have primary drafting and negotiation responsibilities on deals and provide ongoing legal counsel and contract interpretation for business team members. The candidate also will be expected to participate in other Amazon legal projects as directed including leading simplification and scaling initiatives managing legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.
- 2 years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Experience in web services/cloud computing software licensing telecommunications or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $195700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
