Restaurants today operate in an increasingly dynamic landscape and were building a modern product ecosystem to support this. The Food & Beverage (F&B) team at Square empowers restaurant businesses of all kinds to start run and grow their businesses through advanced workflows specialized products business insights and inclusion in the greater Square everything we build we focus on efficiency automation and reliability: themes of paramount importance in a fast-paced environment where great hospitality is key.
Within a Restaurant the Back of House is where all of the food is prepped cooked and plated ensuring customers get timely service and enjoy their meal. The Back of House team encompasses the Kitchen Display System (KDS) and printed paper tickets which are crucial parts of restaurant operations ensuring orders reach the kitchen and are prepared correctly.
As a Staff Android engineer on the Food & Beverage team youll work closely with other engineers and cross-functional partners to ensure our applications are maintainable and capable of meeting the diverse needs of our merchants. Youll play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance and reliability of our Android solutions directly impacting millions of users worldwide. This position requires both deep technical expertise and the ability to collaborate and drive strategic initiatives.
