Job Description
- Lead and manage a team of Android engineers and QA building applications for Android Automotive OS (AAOS)
- Drive technical architecture system design and best practices for performance security and automotive-grade reliability
- Ensure seamless integration with embedded systems car hardware APIs and OEM standards
- Conduct code reviews mentor engineers and foster a culture of clean testable and scalable code
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies sprint planning and regular status reporting
Qualifications :
- 5 years of experience in Android development
- 2 years with Android Automotive OS
- Proven experience leading Engineering teams or technical projects
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin Jetpack and Android app architecture (MVVM Hilt/Koin)
- Experience with voice assistants or audio processing
- Familiarity with AAOS-specific APIs CarApp library AudioManager and in-car UX constraints
- Proven experience in aligning stakeholders
- Experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
- Background in real-time audio streaming and WebSocket APIs
- Understanding of automotive safety certification or regulatory compliance
