About the role:
As the Director of Product Management - Commerce Experiences you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for our customer-facing commerce experiences. You will lead cross-functional teams to build world-class experiences for customer account management invoicing billing inventory management and license management. Your work will directly support our customers experiences in doing business with Samsara - improving this will drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US.
In this role you will:
- Define Strategy: Shape the long-term (3 year) direction & roadmap for account and commerce experience ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
- Build New Experiences: Relentlessly focus on customer needs delivering net new experiences urgently and iteratively
- Drive Impact: Influence the organization to pursue complex shared objectives and achieve ambitious goals. Have a function-wide impact and contribute to the overall functional strategy.
- Build Develop and Lead teams: Lead and develop product and project teams fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Champion Our Principles: Instill a culture of simplicity and efficiency eliminating bureaucracy by leading the evolution of organizational structures tools and technologies. Foster cross-functional collaboration to achieve shared goals.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Proven experience as a leader of product teams with a track record of successfully launching and scaling account management and self-serve commerce products.
- Experience in a Director-level role or equivalent managing multiple teams and product portfolios.
- Demonstrated ability to drive a product strategy from conception through to launch and post-launch optimization.
- Strong understanding of customer account management billing invoicing and inventory systems.
- Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and influence cross functional teams at an executive level.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with a focus on building and inspiring high-performing teams.
