The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking an Assistant Vice President for the Economic Competitiveness Division to lead efforts for improving state and local policy factors that enable economic growth and job creation in Virginia. The Economic Competitiveness Division is responsible for identifying economic growth opportunities for the Commonwealth and crafting budget and policy proposals to enhance Virginias competitiveness for those opportunities. The Assistant Vice President has primary responsibility for conducting research and analysis on Virginias competitiveness to identify opportunities for improvement developing and implementing the Strategic Plan for Economic Development of the Commonwealth and VEDPs annual Operational Plan supporting strategy development for VEDPs sector teams and supporting special projects including transformational economic development projects and requests from the General Assembly or the Administration.
