Required Skills
What you will do:
- Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute marketing strategies ensuring the approach supports the mission and values of Montana State Fund. Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive integrated strategies through various channels including content marketing advertising and digital marketing. Develop and execute targeted marketing to industry partners and work with marketing and underwriting to develop targeted sales strategies. Lead and contribute to project teams and collaborative efforts. Optimize existing creative processes with a focus on strategic vision and quality to deliver successful marketing and communication approaches.
- Brand Management: Oversee and champion the brand strategy ensuring consistency in messaging image and identity. Create and execute plans to enhance brand awareness and visibility including the development of brand awareness campaigns to increase market share. Serve as a brand ambassador partnering with internal departments to ensure strong brand advocacy and helping others better understand and articulate the organizations brand position.
- Communications and Media strategy: Manage the execution of internal and external communication plans collaborating closely with internal departments and leadership to ensure all employees are informed and aligned. Manage paid advertising campaigns optimizing budget allocation and targeting and develop and manage paid media strategies across various platforms.
- Agency and Vendor Management: Collaborate with leadership to select and manage marketing agencies and vendors. Partner with these external resources to develop and execute a meaningful and effective marketing and brand strategy. Set performance expectations negotiate contracts and establish and monitor vendor management standards to ensure the high delivery of services. Analyze marketing data and provide regular reports to leadership on campaign performance.
- Analysis and review: Conduct effective market research and translate findings into meaningful results. Implement search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies leading efforts to optimize online visibility. Analyze marketing data and campaign effectiveness to inform decision-making adjust strategies and report on major initiatives.
- Leadership and training: Lead mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to a team of creative professionals fostering a collaborative environment to shape and implement our brand strategy. Develop and deliver training materials for internal stakeholders ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms both internally and externally.
Required Experience
What you will need (minimum qualifications):
- Bachelors degree in communication marketing business or related discipline AND four (4) years of brand and marketing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in content management brand strategy marketing strategy and communications strategy.
- Previous experience in a people-management role leading and mentoring a team.
Job location: This position requires regular presence at the Helena Montana office.
Compensation and Benefits: Pay range MGR. Starting salary for this exempt position begins at $101600 - $127000. The maximum of the salary range is $152400.
