Our client is seeking a Corporate Controller for a permanent opportunity in Halifax Nova Scotia. Reporting to the CFO and COO and working with a dedicated and entrepreneurial team with diverse operations the ideal candidate will be an adaptable and outgoing professional responsible for managing the accounting team and contributing to overall business success.
Key Responsibilities of the Job:
- Financial reporting
- Cash flow management and reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Year-end preparation
- Staff management
- Other duties as required
Experience & Attributes for Success:
- Completed CPA designation
- 5 7 years experience in a management role
- A demonstrated track record of driving success through strategic decision-making and focused leadership
- Thrives in dynamic environments quickly adapting to changes while maintaining efficiency and effectiveness.
- Positive collaborative approach to actively engage with colleagues to build consensus promote synergy and achieve shared objectives.
- Strong relationship and communication skills
