Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a strategic collaborative results-oriented principal-level Business Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives that support programs for Esris products and applicationssuch as globalization and accessibility.
This role connects business strategy with technical execution to ensure our products are operationally ready meet global industry standards and align with business objectives. You will bring a business-first mindset to every initiativeregardless of industry or functionwhile advancing business performance through programs such as globalization accessibility and compliance across Esris product portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Navigate ambiguity and apply sound business judgment to translate complex challenges into actionable solutions adapting strategies to dynamic business needs for positive outcomes
- Continuously evaluate and monitor business feasibility by assessing industry standards regulatory trends and financial market conditions to optimize business performance
- Balance short-term priorities with long-term business growth while representing business needs in technical operational and partner discussions
- Provide business insights to support licensor spend contract compliance and risk management
- Serve as a trusted advisor by offering practical solutions and guiding program direction aligned with companys business objectives
- Manage cross-functional projects from initiation to completion ensuring meaningful positioning and delivering measurable impact
- Collaborate with product development legal international offices and operations teams to align strategy priorities and implementation
- Influence to gain buy-in and promote continuous improvement to achieve business and program goals
Requirements
- 8 years of progressive experience in business management strategic operations or similar roles within a software or technology organization
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact
- Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret trends assess risks and inform strategic choices
- Bachelors in Business Administration Information Technology Computer Science or a related field

Recommended Qualifications
- Masters in Business Administration Information Technology Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG Section 508) and/or software globalization practices.
- Certification in project management (such as PMP ScrumMaster)
- Familiarity with software licensing inbound/outbound contract review or business administration
- Familiarity with compliance planning or program audit frameworks.
- Knowledge of SaaS or enterprise software business models.
