Title: Dcor Assembly (carpentry)
Location: CIP Cincinnati Plant
Job Type: Full Time/1st Shift
Position Summary
The Dcor Assembly position is an essential and vital part of CIP Retails manufacturing operation. The position utilizes a combination of carpentry and assembly skills while working with a variety of mediums (i.e. various types of wood metal plastics) to build and assemble customer projects. The ability to read blueprints and attention to detail are important components of this position. Your success will directly affect the overall look and feel of each customers project.
Responsibilities
Read simple blueprints or instructions on building the necessary components
Perform detailed wood working
Ability to use powered hand tools and table saws
Proficiently read a tape measure down to the 16th
Ability to follow instructions and come up with creative solutions to ensure products are built with precision and stability.
Clearly and frequently communicate with team leaders co-workers and management on the progress of the project and anticipated completion date
Detail oriented and team focused
Due to small office and manufacturing setting individual must be willing to aid the company in other functions when required
Adheres to all company policies procedures and business ethics codes
Qualifications
Use of power tools such as drills sanders saws and screwdrivers
Two or more years of carpentry experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
HS Diploma or Equivalent
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Capable of lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment may include exposure to noise dust and varying temperatures.
Work Environment
Manufacturing floor with exposure to machinery noise and potential hazards
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
