Redwire / Loadpath has a current opportunity for a part-timeElectronic AssemblyTechnician(Part-time) (Assembler 2) to join our advanced design teamlocated at our facility inAlbuquerque NM. Summary:
We have an opportunity for a part-time Electronic AssemblyTechnician to join our team in Albuquerque NM. Hours may vary in this part-time position working up to 29 hours per week depending on business need. The technician performs the building of Harnesses PCBs testing modifying reworking and repairing of electronic and or mechanical assemblies.
Responsibilities:
Fabrication and validation of critical flight hardware including electrical and or mechanical assembly and flight Ground Support Equipment - per associated flight drawings procedures quality standards and internal training.
  • Work with team to manufacture and test flight hardware.
  • Assist with receiving Inventory and kitting assemblies per documented procedures.
  • Work with Quality to ensure that production equipment is maintained and in calibration.
  • Work with manufacturing engineering to optimize manufacturing orders and ensure process instructions are understood.
Ideal Experience:
  • High School Diploma GED or 1 plus years equivalent experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude good fabrication skills and general shop experience.
  • Experience with hand tools including crimpers drills taps torque wrenches power tools and air tools.
  • Experience operating electrical and nonelectrical manufacturing equipment.
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to stand; walk; and use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision and color vision.
  • US Citizen or US Person as defined by ITAR regulations
