Job Description
Paraprofessional Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday Friday 30 hours per week
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Location: North Phoenix AZ
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to provide instructional and classroom support to teachers and students in an educational setting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children is patient organized and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
Help maintain a safe orderly and positive classroom environment.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher.
Support students with special needs by following Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Prepare instructional materials and assist with grading or administrative tasks.
Supervise students during recess lunch and other non-classroom activities.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with children preferably in an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with staff.
High school diploma or equivalent (some college or related training preferred).
Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance.
