Job Description

Responsibilitiesinclude (But Are Not Necessarily Limited To):
- Design and implement optimized and scalable relational and columnar databases in AWS (RDS Redshift) and hybrid environment.
- Assist in modernizing and migrating legacy databases (e.g. Oracle and DB2) to cloud-native platforms.
- Monitor and improve database performance through indexing query optimization and storage configuration.
- Conduct routing maintenance patching schema updates and data migration tasks with minimal downtime.
- Work closely with cross-functional and vendor teams to deliver seamless data operations and project execution.
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years in database administration within enterprise systems.
- Experience supporting both on-premises and cloud-based with preference for Treasury and IRS experience.
- Familiarity with database monitoring and tuning tools.
- Must have active or ability to obtain IRS MBI clearance
