Job Description
Lead HVAC Technician position in San Antonio TX
This is a permanent full time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
We are a mid-sized growing general contractor that self-performs our own mechanical projects. We are seeking a lead hvac technician that is hands-on and knowledgeable in the wet and dry side of hvac projects. Ideally we are looking for someone that has experience working on projects for the department of defense; which may include the Navy Air Force and Army among others. k
Responsibilities:
- Work on Piping systems heat pumps pneumatics controls vrf/vrv systems boilers among other mechanical/hvac systems.
- Read and interpret the design-intent of blueprint drawings
- Inspect and adjust heating cooling and piping equipment in mechanical projects after successful installation
- Make sure all projects exceed federal state and government safety and code requirements
- Work closely with our Mechanical Divisional Manager and ensure our current and upcoming projects are completed on time and under budget
- Lead and assist with new construction TI and service projects for HVAC wet and dry systems
- Work well with our internal team as well as our customers and other external sub-contractors
Requirements:
- 3 years of HVAC Technician experience
- Local to San Antonio
- Prior DOD Construction project experience
- HVAC and OSHA Certifications
