Job Title: Area Operations Manager - Radiology
Location: San Francisco CA
Salary: $95000 to $102000 annually
Shift: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (may vary in San Leandro twice a week)
Weekend Requirements: Based on case load (overtime if applicable)

Job Overview
The Area Operations Manager oversees daily operations and supervision of Radiologic Technologists and Sonographers within the assigned region. This role ensures compliance with company policies state regulations and quality standards while maintaining efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include staff management operational planning equipment oversight and direct clinical support when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement schedules and staffing for the region
- Monitor performance forecast service needs and manage departmental P&L
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and health department rules
- Supervise and support staff including onboarding evaluations and coaching
- Oversee image quality inventory supply ordering and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with dispatch to maintain patient care standards and turnaround times
- Perform X-rays or ultrasounds when necessary
- Manage vehicle scheduling and maintenance for consistent reliability
- Monitor dosimetry reports and ensure technologist credentialing and training
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing radiology operations or related healthcare service lines
- Knowledge of state regulatory requirements for radiology services
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle both operational and clinical aspects of radiology services
- Willingness to travel within the region as required
