Your Role in Action

  • Prepare patients for exams by reviewing medical histories obtaining vitals and ensuring comfort and confidentiality.

  • Support providers during exams minor procedures and treatments.

  • Perform phlebotomy specimen collection and point-of-care testing as needed.

  • Manage accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.

  • Assist with patient education and coordination of care ensuring follow-up appointments labs and imaging are scheduled.

  • Collaborate with the care team to deliver seamless compassionate service to patients and families.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Certification Required Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.

  • Clinical Experience Previous experience in oncology hematology or another specialty clinic strongly preferred.

  • Technical Skills Proficiency with vital signs EKGs injections specimen processing and EMR documentation.

  • Compassion & Professionalism Ability to support patients with empathy and dignity while maintaining a calm and reassuring presence.

  • Team Collaboration Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
