Job Description
Were looking for an experienced tutor to teach English Language Arts and Social Studies to motivated 7th12th grade students at the Army Navy Academy in Carlsbad CA.
This is a small group setting (35 students) where youll have the opportunity to make a real impact strengthening students reading comprehension writing skills and overall academic confidence.
What Youll Do
Provide engaging interactive lessons in ELA and Social Studies.
Adapt instruction to different learning styles and ability levels.
Build critical thinking communication and study skills.
Foster a supportive respectful learning environment.
What Were Looking For
Proven experience tutoring or teaching ELA and Social Studies at the middle/high school level.
Strong communication skills and subject knowledge.
Patience adaptability and a passion for helping students succeed.
Bonus: Ability to also tutor Spanish.
