Job Description
HVAC Engineer position at large mechanical and plumbing construction company
We are a large growing mechanical contractor that works on many large mechanical hvac and plumbing projects. This is a full-time position with great benefits retirement package and plenty of room for career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure client satisfaction in early phase of upcoming projects.
- Review all contract project design engineering design for accurate calculations.
- Work closely with general contractors and owners as well as other sub-contractors and mep-design engineers.
- Review project specs and identify value engineering opportunities to present to our clients.
- Ability to commute to different jobsites and assist the Project Manager in managing large HVAC construction projects.
Requirements:
- Local
- Stable work-history.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar in Construction Management is preferred.
- 3years of field experience on large HVAC commercial projects ranging from 50k to $30M.
- Strong software knowledge in Microsoft Office MS Project AutoCAD Autodesk Fabrication Trane Trace 700 Revit among others are a plus.
- Knowledge in State building and HVAC among others are a plus.
