STEM Teaching Assistant What the Role Involves
- Supporting teaching and learning within STEM subjects primarily science maths and technology
- Assisting with small group interventions to boost pupil understanding and progress
- Helping manage classroom behaviour and engagement during lessons
- Collaborating with teachers to support lesson delivery and student assessments
- Tracking pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
- Interviews to begin the week commencing 25th August 2025
STEM Teaching Assistant What the School is Looking For
The ideal candidate will be proactive compassionate and committed with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for STEM education. A 2:1 or First Class degree from a top 30 UK university is preferred alongside previous child-centred experience. Please note applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Salary and Contract Info
- General TA / SEN TA roles: 444 per week pro rata (termtime only)
- Contract: Fulltime longterm (SeptemberJuly) termtime only
- Potential for future teacher training or contract extensions following a successful placement
