Position Overview

The Sonographer II functions as a medical imaging professional under the supervision of Radiology management providing clinically relevant information to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This role requires strong technical skills in sonography the ability to work in a collaborative healthcare environment and participation in on-call rotations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform sonographic imaging procedures in assigned specialty areas
Provide accurate high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
Maintain imaging equipment and follow safety protocols
Document patient information and procedure details accurately
Foster a collaborative and professional work environment
Participate in on-call rotations including weekends and holidays

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an approved ultrasound training program
Valid Oregon OBMI license (permanent or temporary) upon hire
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum of two specialty certifications from:

ARDMS
ARRT
CCI

Three years of relevant experience
