We have an exciting opportunity for an Energetics Engineer to join our team in Michigan. We are seeking a candidate with subject matter expertise in the development and qualification of aerospace-related pyrotechnic and energetic components such as gas generators initiators and igniters.
The Energetics Engineer will be responsible for:
- Creating requirements specifications and verifying compliance throughout the product life cycle
Interpreting applicable regulations requirements and safety standards
- Designing analyzing and supporting the manufacturing of components and propellants

Planning executing and analyzing development and qualification testing

Preparing documenting and communicating test plans and reports
Qualifications
-
10 years of experience developing and qualifying energetic components
- Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant technical or project management discipline
- Knowledge of requirements verification/validation processes

Strong organizational analytical and communication skills

Familiarity with ammunition and explosive certification processes

U.S. citizenship required

Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
