Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain engineering standards in collaboration with the team.
- Design structural components for electrical power line and traffic intersection steel structures using 3D modeling software.
- Perform structural calculations and engineering analysis to ensure design integrity and safety.
- Review and interpret contract documents drawings job work orders and customer specifications.
- Provide precise inputs to the design team for fabrication drawings.
- Review structural drawings for compliance with engineering and project requirements.
- Deliver high-quality engineering documents consistent with company policies and customer expectations.
- Lead and participate in design reviews both internally and with external stakeholders.
- Offer technical guidance on design reviews investigation reports and standards development.
- Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on time aligned with project deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering and design preferably in steel structures for electrical or traffic industries.
- Proficient with 3D modeling software and structural analysis tools.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Solid IT proficiency including daily use of computers and office equipment.
- Preferred experience with PLS-POLE software is a plus.
