The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) Space Launch System (SLS) Finance team is seeking a highly motivated Associate Financial Analyst (Level 2) based out of Huntsville Alabama to join our team working on the largest and most powerful rocket ever produced in the history of this role you will have the opportunity to work with teams within the SLS Program and the BDS Finance organization. You will provide financial and cost management analysis preparing information for briefings to all levels of Finance and Program Leadership for review and approval.

Position Responsibilities:
Performs general analysis of resource forecasts and/or control account Estimates at Completion (EACs); financial EACs
Reconciles data from multiple sources and performs general support of: resource forecasts and/or EACs for control accounts budgets functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts programs
Extracts data and compiles routine performance reports and assists with preparing variance analyses
Develops and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines including earned value and variance analyses
Assists in developing business cases using appropriate indices
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
NASA Access:
This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher in accounting finance business or a related field
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience with financial processes and systems
Experience with Microsoft Excel applications: Formulas VLookups pivot tables charts filters and linking worksheets
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Willing and able to obtain a NASA clearance prior to starting
Experience working with NASA programs
Experience performing Estimates at Completion (EACs)
Experience with one or more of the following financial systems: Cognos Interactive Reporting Environment (IRE) Enterprise Analysis System (EAS) Cost Schedule Performance Reporting (CSPR) Enterprise Planning and Analysis System (EPAS)
Willing to work 5 days a week onsite at one of the listed locations
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
Interfacing with senior management or program management
Proven ability to handle competing priorities while providing level-headed decision making during unexpected events
Desire to understand the business (intellectual curiosity) and gain product knowledge
