About the job: Same Day Surgery Medical Coder (Quezon City) Onsite

Location: Quezon City / 100% ONSITE

Qualifications:

Active CPC COC CCS-P and/or CCS
College Graduate of BS Nursing or a med allied course
3 years solid SDS Medical Coding Experience

Responsibilities:

This role is for a medical coder specializing in ambulatory surgery cases. The primary responsibility is to accurately review medical records (specifically SDSlikely meaning Surgical Day Services or a similar designation) and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM HCPCS and CPT codes for diagnoses and procedures.
This includes correct sequencing of codes and application of Level I and Level II modifiers all in accordance with official coding guidelines coding clinics and CPT assistants.
