Position: Hotel General Manager
Location: Phnom Penh Cambodia
Salary: USD $3500-$4500 per month
Employment Type: Full-time
We are seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead all aspects of hotel operations from strategic planning and revenue growth to daily operational excellence. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences achieving strong financial results and ensuring compliance with brand service and regulatory standards.
Develop and implement the hotels annual business plan setting clear revenue service quality and operational efficiency targets.
Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the local and regional hospitality market.
Direct and coordinate all hotel departments including Front Office Housekeeping Food & Beverage Sales & Marketing Finance HR and Maintenance.
Ensure brand standards and guest service levels are consistently met or exceeded.
Introduce and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and continuous improvement initiatives.
Design and execute revenue management pricing and distribution strategies to maximise RevPAR and overall profitability.
Oversee budgeting forecasting and full P&L management implementing effective cost controls while protecting service quality.
Recruit train and mentor department heads building a performance-driven and guest-focused culture.
Foster strong interdepartmental communication and teamwork.
Partner with the sales and marketing team to boost occupancy Average Daily Rate (ADR) and market share.
Strengthen relationships with corporate accounts travel agencies and tourism partners.
Ensure compliance with local laws safety standards and brand guidelines.
Maintain open communication with owners investors and local authorities providing timely operational and financial updates.
Bachelors degree in Hotel Management Business Administration Tourism Management or related field (preferred).
Minimum 10 years of progressive hotel operations experience with at least 5 years as General Manager or Hotel Director.
Proven success in delivering strong financial performance and high guest satisfaction.
Experience in both pre-opening and ongoing operational management is advantageous.
