About the Role

You will be working as a clinician in APATT the community aged mental health team and will be responsible for psychiatric assessment and treatment.

You will be visiting clients at home providing intake and triage crisis support assessment and case management reviewing risk and providing support to reduce impact of illness and enhance independence to our clients and carers in a variety of community and residential settings.

You will provide discipline specific support and advice to the team. We utilise a cooperative and recovery-focused approach across the continuum of care to achieve optimal outcomes for consumers.

Classifications for this role will range from Occupational Therapist Grade 2 YB20 - YB23 ($88030 - $101197 per annum pro rata)

Your Contribution

  • Relevant degree and/or postgraduate qualifications

  • Relevant AHPRA registration

  • 2 years post qualification clinical experience within Mental Health and/or aged care clinical services including case management and care coordination experience

  • Demonstrated passion for achieving the best clinical practice

  • Knowledge of Mental Health and Wellbeing Act Victoria and other relevant legislation

  • A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check or willing to obtain
